Carter Efe reacts as Dembele celebrates Barcelona’s win with ‘Machala’ (Video)

 Nigerian singer cum comic act, Carter Efe has taken to social media to react after Barcelona star, Ousmane Dembele posted his song on Instagram.

The buzzing artiste shared a video of him rejoicing after seeing that the footballer used his song to celebrate Barca’s 4-1 win against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

He released Machala on the 29th of July as a tribute to superstar singer, Wizkid, and it debuted at the 14th position of 50 on the afrobeat charts, alongside songs by top stars like Burna Boy, Davido, Rema and his idol Wizkid.

Dembele, who scored in the 66th minute, shared a still video of him celebrating with his teammates after their game and Machala was playing in the post.

   

In the video, Carter Efe, who was screaming at the top of his lungs played the video for his followers and fans.

Meanwhile, Godson, an aide to Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has promised that comedian turned musician, Carter Efe would perform his break out single, Machala, with the superstar.

He made the promise to Carter during an Instagram live session, weeks after lambasting him for recording and dedicating a song to Wizkid.

Last month, Carter Efe released Machala, borne out of his love for Wizkid and it has been receiving positive reviews.

Machala which is a massive hit even became the number 1 song in Nigeria at a point and the comic star celebrated the feat.

Though Wizkid did not react to the song or acknowledge Carter Efe for showing love through the music, Godson has said that he will ensure the skit-maker performs the song alongside Big Wiz.
