I used to think Wizkid was a spirit before I met him – Singer, BNXN (Video)

 Controversial Afrobeats singer, Daniel ”BNXN” Benson, has spoken on his relationship with Grammy-winning singer, Wizkid.

According to the ‘For Days’ crooner, they became close friends after Wizkid featured him on his song, Mood.

Speaking on how he met the Starboy, BNXN said Big Wiz sent him a message and he went over to his place without delay.

   

BNXN who made this known in an interview on 102.7 Naija FM, said a lot of people were asking him how he was able to meet the Ojuelegba hitmaker so easily because it’s difficult for other artistes to see him due to scheduling differences.

He talked about how Wiz, who hardly posts on social media, usually replies his messages with immediacy except on occasions that he saw it late.

He also said that when he saw Wizkid, he realised he is flesh and blood, which was in contrast with his earlier belief that he is a spirit.

Meanwhile, the singer also talked about his beef with Ruger, noting that he was advised by Timaya to not keep quiet after being ridiculed.

BNXN and Ruger have clashed on Twitter a few times and it all started when the ‘Bounce’ singer bragged that he is better while replying a fan.

“I love Buju, he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only RUGER. All my hits are JUST RUGER. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?”Ruger had written.

Speaking during an interview on Naija FM, the ‘Confident’ crooner said Timaya told him to respond to the post because it was disrespectful to him.

He, however said that it got to him because Timaya is someone who hardly gets involved or bothered about beefs and controversies. BNXN also noted that Burna Boy, who was his former boss, told him that the industry is fake so he should not be too friendly with other musicians
